It is the last born of the Vendéens Lakes, it is also called the Sillonniere Lake. The landscape is forested steep hillsides, sloping grassland and a wooded frame very present.

The Vouraie dam is a dam constructed in 1998, located in the commune of Bournezeau and St Hilaire le Vouhis, on the course of the Vouraie.
This reservoir spans 2 municipalities: Bournezeau and St Hilaire the Vouhis.
It supplies the drinking water of the Angle Guignard plant.
